In response, India started with aggressive batting. England tried to stop India with their pace bowlers, but Sanju Samson and his partner Abhishek Sharma started off quickly. Player Reactions:

Varun Chakravarthy (Player of the Match):
“My IPL experience helped. I bowled at the right length and prevented the batsmen from playing in their preferred zones. Every over in Eden Gardens is challenging.”

Suryakumar Yadav:
“After winning the toss, we made a great start. The selection of three spinners was part of our strategy. The bowlers did an excellent job, and the batting was the icing on the cake.”

Jos Buttler (England Captain):
“The wicket was slightly different, and we lost early wickets. Indian bowlers bowled well. It was good to see Jofra and Wood bowl well. We need to work on our aggressive style.”

Abhishek Sharma:
“I just wanted to play my natural game. The freedom given by the captain and coach helped. My IPL experience was useful. I was prepared for England’s short ball strategy from their fast bowlers.”

Interesting Facts:
India won their 7th consecutive T20I match at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

Next Match:
The teams will now head to Chennai for the second T20I. India, leading 1-0 in the series, is full of confidence.
